Goodreads asked Lorelai Watson:

How do you get inspired to write?

Lorelai Watson I've often read that if you sit around waiting for inspiration, you'll never write. For the most part, I've found that's true. I have to purposefully sit and come up with something. Ideas just don't hit me all the time. I wish they did! Sometimes I sit down, plot out a book, and in the middle of writing it I'll have this existential dread that I'll finish the book and have no idea where I'm going next. But, so far, so good. We'll see how the rest plays out.
