April, I am a 6th grade teacher and one of my students is reading your book, "The Girl Who Was Supposed To Die." She is loving it! My students are wondering where do you get the ideas for your books?

April Henry Almost all my ideas come from real life - although that one was pretty made up. The stuff INSIDE the book was researched, including everything from learning about fugue state amnesia to climbing into a rolling garbage can to see if I fit.
