How do you get inspired to write?

Krista Goodrich I have been writing since I was a young girl but always thought I had to be a "serious big-word-using author" to be actually taken seriously. After reading several books in which the authors used real-life conversational tones, I realized that it was okay to write the way I want to write and so I just went for it. My book (and future books) are meant to be conversation and fun while addressing topics that are often not addressed by women because the topics are boring or overwhelming. I hope to overcome that so that my readers can be empowered to take control of their finances...even if I am not using the biggest words ever!
