How do you get inspired to write?

Blue Raven I see inspirations everywhere. My life plays an important part. Often movies. Actually, I am not a reader. My kindle is full of half read books both trad and self-published. One thing that irritates me is info dump which surprisingly a lot of self-published authors seem to be doing it and defending it as good writing. One writer even advised other new writers to watch documentaries to learn the art of info dump. The other is dry writing.
