How do you get inspired to write?

Jean Marie Alfieri I find myself inspired to write in response to a current events either in my life or in the world that has posed some question or controversy. This will usually take the form of a blog post. The writing of Zuggy the Rescue Pug short-story poems, is inspired by the antics of my own silly, sassy and often smart-azzy pug! I'm also inspired by my volunteer work at the Humane Society. Each of those dogs comes in and leaves with their own story. There is inspiration everywhere, if you take the time to look for it.
