I enjoyed your book, “The Printed Letter Bookshop” very much! I have one question. In the last chapter Janet talks with a person named Lisa Generis. Please remind me - who Is this? I cannot recall reading about her earlier in the book. Thanks!!

Katherine Reay Hey Rebecca, I am so delighted you enjoyed The Printed Letter Bookshop. Lisa is mentioned a few times, but never in great detail. She is Janet's former best friend and harsh words were said. Whenever she comes into the store (significant that she still does) Janet avoids her. At the end, when Janet can see that much of her isolation and pain is self-imposed and can accept that, she reaches out to Lisa to chat -- Lisa, who in fact, was there the entire time.
