I believe I fall into the category of “aspiring writer” as well. I think the best advice I received was to “just do it.” If you have an idea, outline the idea (storyboard) and then write some part of the story you really want to tell. It doesn’t have to be the beginning of the story. Just write. Over time, you will get better. I hope that is the case for me.

JR - not a question - just a finding! hope you and Lise are well - just discovered you were an author in my fav genre! tony Harnden was up here signing books in Jacksonville, FL., and as i bought the book I "rediscovered" you. Lost track of you after Bombay (Mumbai) but the jungle drums were never very silent as i continued to work at State and in my assignment to ISAF and an embedded PRT with 1/1 Cav &2/25 Stryker.?
