Not sure if this really qualifies as "inspiration" but I started writing after reading a horribly bad romance novel! (True, I promise - and no, I won't tell you the title or the author.) After making more than a few disparaging remarks, my BFF dared me to prove I could do better ... and that's how I got started - LOL!
