Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lynn Nicholas I was doing a lot of ballroom dancing when I started the first draft, back in 2011. It's a colorful world, full of amazing, high energy, emotional people. Hence the ballroom studio setting. It was natural to play the game of "what if" and create situations. I could also put words in people's mouths to see where my characters would run with them. There were a few issues I could insert that, really, could have been used in any environment, not just a ballroom dance studio. People are people wherever you go and, no matter their profession, have the same issues and emotions to deal with.
