Claus Holm The best thing about being a writer is that you can touch people's lives why you have never met, and never WILL meet. I once wrote a story for my grandfather's funeral, and it was passed out to everybody there (it was my way of saying goodbye, as I couldn't make myself give a eulogy.) For about 15 years after, I got emails and letters from people who had read this story, having been given it by someone who was at the funeral. They would write to me and thank me for saying what they could not say themselves. That was an amazing feeling.
