It begins with my near-death-experience, however, the crux of the book is about brokenness, and how God uses brokenness in creating a more abundant life in Christ. I've found getting involved in like-minded groups helpful in integrating into the Goodreads community. It helps to interact with group members on a variety of topics and to take an interest in other authors' books rather than only being there to promote our own books. Hi Susan! How can I share my memoir, Living as a Dead Man, on the Christian nonfiction group you moderate? My story is about losing my faith only to find it after the devastation of an ALS diagnosis given maybe three to five years to live. My journey with ALS, now over 25 years, is about the trials and insurmountable odds overcome with God's help. More important is the greater purpose discovered along the way.
