My new book, to be released in February, "The Christmas Surprise" came from buying jewelry for a friend in the store in the story. I did what the Hero did, talk with the sales clerk, as the store was near closing. That was the idea which became the story. Change the characters some, write out a love story, edit it a ton and voila, a book is birthed (soon - still in labor).
