In your books, do you always end up at the destination you set out for when you began writing or does the creative process take you to places yu did not exect?

Tracey Smith Yes and No. I write romance so of course by the end of the book the main couple has come together. However everything in between is dynamic, especially with regard to any elements of mystery or suspense that are tied in to the overall plot. I may start out writing a romantic suspense with the idea that Mr. X will be the villain and half way through it become Mrs. Y. I definitely give myself that flexibility while writing.
