Did Caroline preserve the unread letters from Paul? Do you know the contents of any of them? I really should ask if Paul was a real character and if so, is his daughter still alive? What became of her?

So far I'm enjoying Lost Roses but I do have a question. From page 44 thru 52, why are there 3 seasons mixed in the same trip? You start with Sept then note spring grass, cut hay which is summer then early fall/late summer (the grapes), then back to spring with Apple trees blooming. Just curious.
