Thank you for the response. I couldnt post until today so sorry for the delay. With regards to the Dark Series, I had this question in mind for a while. W did you not have a separate plot for Barack and Syndil instead of spreading their story in two books? Why not have Barack claim Syndil early on, why make him wait till after Darius makes his clam on Tempest in the sixth book Dark Fire?
Christine Feehan
You may want to revisit those two books. Barack, Syndil and the other "lost children" didn't grow up like normal Carpathians. There was a lot they didn't know. There just wasn't enough of a story for an entire book.
Barack had only known for a short time he was her lifemate. Then, she was attacked and the timing wasn't right. I still think their story is romantic, even if it doesn't run the length of a full novel.

I have been reading your novels for years. In August I visited Fort Bragg, Caspar, Jackson Demonstration forest, and Mendocino. I’ve visited many places that you mentioned in the novel. Would you share photos or drawings of the places where you get your inspiration as well as the buildings and homes of the various characters? I’m sure what you have in your Imagination far out strips what I have in mine.

I think you're doing just fine Mrs Feehan. we get a book a year at least from every series you write which is great. This way everyone gets their favorite book like a yearly visit with friends or a Christmas present you know you'll have. Thank you for all your hard work. Also as it won't let me post this without a question are you planning on one book in the dark series for the triplets or 3 books?

As a follow up to EJ Wake's question about the De La Cruz brothers and their ages, which Carpathian is the oldest? Also, would the recently turned Luis and Gary be considered their "human" age or would their age be tied to the ancients lineage that they are accepted into? BTW, loved Leopard's Wrath.
