How do you get inspired to write?

Judith Lynne I'm almost always thinking about stories I'd like to write, if I have any brain space at all. I have a special ritual I do if I feel like I am really fresh out of ideas, and it never fails. If you mean putting the butt in the seat and writing? I have to have some quiet time to myself, usually early in the morning or late at night, and I open the file and put in the scene I've been thinking about recently. Sometimes it just takes off from there but even if it doesn't, I got that scene done!
