Goodreads asked B.L. Koller:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

B.L. Koller Write. Don't worry about your writing being "perfect." Writing can ALWAYS be fixed. Also there is no such thing as "good" or "bad" writing. It is like any art form and is subjective. Practice, practice, practice. Even if you're only writing 20 words a day. Set small, encouraging, doable goals that fit your schedule. Work your way up to larger word counts. (for example my Daily word count goal is a humble 300 words per day.)
You will have good writing days, and terrible days. If you don't meet your goal, don't stress about it. Tomorrow is a new day.
