Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Amanda B.Weaver (formerly Amanda Ross) I started writing the first draft of To Astera, With Love in 2009. The idea came to me in a dream, but I didn't have a solid foundation. After a friend read the book and basically said "this ain't it, sis," I went back to the drawing board. In 2018, I had a brainstorming session with my mother-in-law, who wrote for Welcome Back, Kotter, back in the day. After several "what ifs," the bare bones for Astera formed.
