Goodreads asked Bri Seeley:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Bri Seeley Don't aspire to write a book. I hear from people all the time, "I'm trying to write a book..." The problem is, people who try to write a book never actually WRITE a book because they're so wrapped up in trying. I never "aspired" to write a book. From the moment the idea came to me, being a best-selling authorr was a certainty rather than an aspiration. My advice? Stop trying. Stop aspiring. Go write your book.
