Goodreads asked Stewart J. Zully:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Stewart J. Zully Enjoy the act of writing. I have been an actor for 40 years, and I grew to learn that acting had nothing to do with stardom. It has to do with telling stories, creating characters, etc. Don't write to make money, or to be famous. Write to enjoy your love of language, to enjoy creating a story or idea, and then continue to toy with it. Like a sculptor takes a slab of clay and works with it, molding it into a work of art, writers have words in which to sculpt .
