Gabi Conti Write! Don't worry if it's not the best thing you've written, just get your thoughts down on paper - or google docs -- or cocktail napkins -- wherever you write. I've always kept diaries or blogs - which was helpful in writing this book. I knew exactly how I felt after my first heartbreak because it was scribbled in my pink sparkly diary next to Joni Mitchell's lyrics and a print out AOL conversation from my high school boyfriend. I guess you could say that was really the first draft of this book!
