Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tom L. Robson I currently finished writing Part IV of my Authority of Stars series entitled 'Friends of the Mountain', a horror/thriller based in a small colony town on the frontier of a fledgling planet. I try to sample different vibes and genres between instalments, and this was my long-awaited chance to try horror. Most ideas for this novel gravitated around wanting create a successful horror story that would be genuinely scary to read. Also, my previous novel (currently in the editing stage and entitled 'The Dreamer's Code') was a fun, planet-hopping action/adventure and I wanted to write something within a smaller, lonelier setting.
