What's the most enjoyable thing about being a writer for you?

Kasie West I love creating new characters and exploring their lives and learning new things about them. I almost feel like a matchmaker sometimes as I write people falling in love. It's fun. I also really enjoy hearing from readers and knowing other people are enjoying something I worked so hard on.

PIVOT POINT was fantastic. I noticed you write contemporary and PIVOT POINT and the sequel had some paranormal aspects to it. Which genre is more difficult to write in, contemporary or the paranormal-ish genre?

I ask because I've seen you respond about writing a book about Bec in The Distance Between Us being a "maybe someday" story and just wondered how you decide.
