Silly question: Do you know Adam Selzer? I looked up one of your books today because someone in the chat mentioned it on one of his graveyard tours online, and I just noticed another of your book is based on something following someone home from a busride ghost tour in Chicago.

Hello, Mary! Yes, I do know Adam! Adam is a fellow Simon & Schuster author, as well as a historian, and I credit him for assisting with a lot of my research on both THE PECULIAR INCIDENT ON SHADY STREET and my forthcoming book, SCRITCH SCRATCH. In fact, when writing SCRITCH SCRATCH, I rode along on a ghost tour bus that Adam was running at the time - that bus and tour inspired the "Spirits" bus in my book!

Not a question, I just wanted to thank you for writing Scritch Scratch. We lived in Chicago briefly and never heard of this tragedy, so it was very informative and interesting how you wove this story. Will you be writing more like this, involving some of the other disasters mentioned in the book?
