I've had the idea for many, many years. I had plans to write it as a screenplay while I was living in Los Angeles, but I never got around to it, not having the full story idea in my head at the time. It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I stumbled onto the idea of having Route 66 play a significant part in the story that it finally came together into a fully-realized story. It's funny how one simple idea can help to bring a lot of puzzle pieces together to help you finish your puzzle.
