Dr. Gary Waddell
I began my career in the arts and shifted into counseling and then educational leadership. My degrees and experience span all of these areas. As I grew into leadership and began to develop some strong beliefs about what made leaders the kind that changed things, I realized that these were informed by my frames of reference as both an artist and counselor. I wrote this book as a kind of weaving of these strands together into a model of leadership that is grounded in humility and empathy and informed by the habits of mind of the artist as a creator and tinkerer. Thus, "The Art of Everything" was born!
