Goodreads asked Ray Withnall:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Ray Withnall Having a handy Thesaurus is useful when you can't think of a better word, but generally I think you have to clear your mind of daily distractions and immerse yourself in your surroundings. When the words stop completely take a break. If I get stuck I just write what comes in head, have a sleep, and go over the words next morning. Usually a new day brings a clearer mind.
