I won your book Summer in Good Hope from Goodreads. (Thank you!!) I just started reading it and realized it's part of a series and I missed the first one. Obviously, I am going to try to run down all the books in this series, but my question is this: should I pause and wait until I can find (and read) the first book, or can I read this one without it spoiling anything? Haven't gotten very far but enjoying it so far!!
