Goodreads asked Jacqui D. Williams:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jacqui D. Williams I step away from it, when I see that there is nothing happening, and I pray and ask the Holy Spirit to speak through me in my writing - then I sit back and watch God work through me. Sometimes, it may be days, and nothing is happening - that's okay, I know if I am suppose to be writing on a particular subject, God will move when the time is right. The key is to be ready, and when the time is right, I am rushed with information that comes to me. Sometimes I have to stop and write it down at that moment so I don't forget; and then I adjust it later. I believe when God has an assignment for you to do, you will not rest until you have completed it. When the Holy Spirit first spoke to my heart to write my first book, I was shocked myself, but very willing and excited to take on this assignment. I am still amazed on how God can take the simple things of this world and use them for His Glory.
