Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Evan Graver When I need a new idea, I spend time reading the news. Since my books take place in the Caribbean, I read about crime in the islands and the countries that surround the Caribbean Sea or the Gulf of Mexico. Sometimes all it takes is one sentence in an article to get my mind spinning and once I have that thread, I start pulling on it with specific Internet searches and flesh out the story from there.
