Mary asked Kimberly Williams-Paisley:

I'm currently listening to the audio book version of Where The Light Gets In (and laughing, and crying, and nodding). I'm so glad it's YOUR voice telling YOUR story, but....was it difficult to do so without breaking down in certain parts of the book? Did you have to do several "takes"? You have amazing composure and animation as you read, and I think it adds so much to what is already a gutsy, beautiful memoir.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley Hi! I just saw this question. Thank you for writing and I’m sorry it took me so long! I loved reading the audiobook, but it was exhausting! I didn’t realize how much energy I had to put into it. Thank you for listening to the book, and thanks again for the question! -Kim
