I'm a great fan of the natural world, and love the various Springwatch/Autumnwatch/Winterwatch programmes. I decided to write a book featuring the presenters of a similar programme, and weaving interesting facts about the natural world into the text. Thus 'Birds, Beasts and Ben' came about.
