How do you deal with writer’s block?

Don Jones I sometimes have 2-3 books I'm working on at once, so I'll just switch to another. But it rarely happens: I block out and outline my books pretty thoroughly (that can sometimes take 2x longer than writing the thing!), and so I basically always know what I'm writing about.
