Goodreads asked M.A. Hunt:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

M.A. Hunt I see writer's block as a self-created scapegoat for not writing. You have good days and bad days, and the word count screams at you on each of them. It's okay to skip a day and take a break from it, but better to put down a few hundred words, even if you throw them away the following day because it shows what you shouldn't have written, giving you the knowledge of what you should. No writing is truly wasted.
