Hi Mr. Gibbs, I'm one of your young fans. After reading so many different books I just feel like writing a book for fun and for my family and friends. I just feel like I need to write down on paper this plot in my head. I'm not even sure what genre it is. I'd say it has fantasy, adventure, thriller, realistic fiction, and science fiction. Do you have any advice? Should I have one genre only?

Stuart Gibbs There is no need to lock yourself into one genre. Don't get hung up on genre at all. Just tell the story that you want to tell.

How does Erica manage not sleeping for days? I think it was in SSR that Ben said she still looked fresh despite not sleeping because of all the bad guys. Thanks!
