Goodreads asked Elizabeth Horton-Newton:

What are you currently working on?

Elizabeth Horton-Newton "Murder on Blood Highway" is loosely based on the murdered and missing indigenous women on a highway in British Columbia. My book is about a small town and serial murders that have taken places over about 70 years. Constable Atticus Finch Asher, an adopted First Nations man, is investigating the latest series of killings. Roxie Wayne and photographer Flynn Ross are assigned to write a travel piece about the area unaware of the dark killings. Caught up in the investigation, Roxie can't resist trying to solve the mystery. Attracted to the moody Constable, she tries to put aside her feelings. But events put her right in the middle of the murders. The book is expected to launch in 2019.
