I've cultivated a habit of writing in the morning. I pour myself a coffee, grab some granola, and go back to bed and write. The daily habit of writing inspires me. When I'm deep in a draft I don't really need to force myself to the laptop. But I do get inspired by other books and art. It's great to fill the creative well by looking at a painting or reading a poem.
