Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Barbara Reed My series is a mystery-suspense based in the modern music business where I've made my living my whole life, so there are countless story ideas there. But everyday, things change, so I'm always catching up. Also, keeping notes, newspaper articles, jotting down ideas--these can all be worked into your plot in some way, and often strengthen the story because you may have forgotten about them if it weren't for the notes.
