Have you ever had the itch to write about another genre or sub-genre that you normally wouldn't do?

It's an interesting question because my writing already crosses a lot of genres. I write under S.M. Lynch too and those novels are dystopian/sci-fi but with romance mixed in. :-) I always said I would never write horror because quite frankly, my imagination is already scary enough. Perhaps that would make me a great horror writer, I just don't know!!
