Hi Matthew! I just wanted to say that I thoroughly and whole-heartedly LOVED your book. I have already purchased 5 copies to give to family/friends and plan to gift even more for the upcoming holidays! My first question is: what was the most challenging part of writing this book and what advice do you have for novice writers? My second question is: what book(s) has/have changed your life? Best wishes, Lauren

The most challenging part of writing the book was letting what it was (is) reveal itself to me without me forcing an idea of what I thought it was going to be upon it. Secondly, as I wrote to myself on DAY 4 of writing the book, “The words in this book need to be worthy of sharing with the world if signed by ‘Anonymous,’ while at the same time be a book that only Matthew McConaughey could have written.”

Congratulations on a fantastic book. Before reading I was your fan, but now I'm even bigger. At the end of reading, I just wanted to go and sit down somewhere with you, drink one margarita and talk about life.. So, given that you are known as a top margarita master, what is your secret to making the best margarita? Just keep on livin.

Matthew, I am so interested in your road trip experiences. I have seen some wild things while traveling and you’ve done a lot more of it than I have. Is there anything really ridiculous or insane that you’ve seen as a passerby/witness or while rubbernecking on the road? I loved your storytelling of people and places you’ve seen. Couldn’t stop laughing at the pipe fight between your dad and brother. Best, Alaina
