I thought of giving readers chapters of one of my short stories as a "serial" blog. Does anyone do that? Do you think it would work?

Barbara M. Britton Hi Silke. I'm glad you like my website. There are bloggers who post chapters of their stories on their blog, or send out the chapters via email or a newsletter. Usually, this is done to build readership of the blog or generate buzz for a book launch. Once you put the short story out for free, it may be difficult to get publisher interest.
I would think about what theme you want for your blog and put out content around the theme (books, recipes, writing). I hope this helps.
