Goodreads asked Mahina Perrot:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Mahina Perrot Oh! so many things! First I love the freedom I have to choose any topic I want to write about, I also love the variety of the books I write. I thought I wanted to focus on children's books only but as it turned out I wrote a book for adults about my adventures in untamed places such as Brazil and Africa, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and I most loved writing my latest book, Manifesting, because I know it will be of service to others, and it is also a book I am always carrying with me myself, since I find it so efficient. But I like to vary. I actually thought about which part I enjoyed most, in the writing process, but the thing is, each is so different, and just stimulating and amazing! I love getting the first ideas, getting the first draft done, I used t not enjoy doing the second draft and editing, but now I do, and then putting it in the right format, and even doing the covers, coming up with tag-lines and doing the promotion work are also parts I truly enjoy! The best thing ever though, is to be able to hold THE book you're written IN YOUR OWN HANDS! Nothing beats the sense of love, fulfilment and satisfaction you get when you have your very own book with you!
