Mahina Perrot She left the bookstore in a hurry, holding on to her latest purchased and as she ran, thinking about how cosy she'd be reading at home on this cold night, a man came out of a dark alleyway and stabbed her in the chest, leaving her for death. Stunned, lying on the freezing and damp street floor, she realised that the book she'd just bought had a deep slash across it and her eyes burned as she shed tears of pain at losing this book but also of joy at knowing it had just saved her life!
