Hello Mr Riddle, I'm just switching from the first to second books in the Origin series, and I'm perplexed about the use of the name Atlantis and the site claimed to be Atlantis in the book not being where Atlantis (ruins) is 30km NE of Ouadane. Was that part of the plan for the story or a unintended misuse of the name? Don't get me wrong, I loved the first book and have the Long Winter lined up after Origin.

Thanks for the question. I'm not familiar with the location you mentioned. The site of Atlantis in the trilogy is fictional.

Hi Gerry, Just finished The Atlantis Gene, WOW that was great. I'm just wanting to know your thoughts if you would ever visit the idea of alternate history based novels being woven into something like Atlantis Gene?. Keep up the fantastic work Gerry.

A friend asked if they could read Atlantis Plague without having read Atlantis Gene. I said yes, but I do not recommend it, so they are starting with book 1. I have plenty of time to read, but even when I worked and had young children at home, I couldn't imagine purposely starting a series in the middle. Maybe this is common? Have you noticed a lot more sales/readers on one book in the series?
