How do you deal with writer’s block?

K.C. Pearcey I keep a notebook with me almost all of the time. Whenever I get an idea - a description of a place I see or a clever line or thought - I write the idea down. Whenever I am 'stuck', I go to the notebook and read through until I find a thought that I can use. I don't know if this is unusual - but I do NOT write chronologically ... I often have the end first, followed by the beginning, and then pieces in the middle that I do not arrange 'in order' until I am ready to write the whole story ...
