How do you get inspired to write?

Danette J. Hansen When an idea won't leave me alone I have to write about it. The first I generally come up with it the name of the main character. I might know how I want the story to end or I might only know certain scenes I want to include in the story. I then do some research and that's where the inspiration comes from. It's fun to see how one idea leads to another. I would call the writing project magical. (Even if I don't have magic in my story)
