How do you get inspired to write?

Alan Meredith Getting bored. It's a difficult thing in this day and age with so much to distract you, especially on the internet. Most of the writing I have done is when I have been travelling: so bored in airports; on aeroplanes &; hotel rooms. During the COVID-19 pandemic I have learnt to get bored at home although it is difficult to stay in my fantasy worlds when your kids are constantly asking for food & drinks!
