How do you get inspired to write?

Ruth Graham Humour inspires me. I see something funny, or think of a one-liner and I want to get it down on paper. Poverty is another good driving force. I've had genuine appallingly difficult times, and the need to get work finished and out so it can hopefully make some money, is a strong driver. I've written thousands of articles for magazines and website, on subjects I've hated along the way. Blogs on tarmac and conveyor belts spring to mind!
