Your writing is amazing. AMAZING. I love how you sneak in certain existential musings. They're so profound but you don't come close to belaboring or preaching. Like Heather and Joe musing on life. Hi Nick, I have just read your story on Amazon and, as a self-published author, it is inspiring. There is one important gap in the story - was there anything in particular that you did to get your first book to the number one slot? I have not really had the time, until recently, to do any meaningful promotion of my books, but I am looking forward to getting my teeth into this aspect of writing.
