Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kathleen Foxx The next project I'd like to work on is something in a genre I don't typically write in: action/adventure. This idea sprang from reading an article about 300-year-old pirate bones being discovered on the sea bed and brought up to test DNA against known descendants of who they think the pirate might be. Voila, an idea was born. And it turned into a trilogy! I'm SO EXCITED to get going on this project. Research has been underway for a few months. It has pirates, an ancient poet, it takes place in (mostly) Portugal, hidden treasure (in a way), a centuries-old family feud, long-buried secrets, hidden passageways, and all kinds of neat things. Think Indiana Jones meets Lara Croft meets the DaVinci Code meets Pirates of the Caribbean.
